Over the past 15 years my dental health has deteriorated very badly to the point that it was seriously starting to affect my confidence and in fact my life. I had elaborate bridge work, almost every other tooth in my mouth was crowned and I also had precision built attachments, specially designed to allow me to taste properly.

In the last few of years, my dental problems became progressively worse, with more tooth loss, more bone loss, more instability with the teeth I had left. I didn’t go anywhere without in case I had an accident and needed to fix a tooth back into place. My diet was restrictive because I couldn’t bite/chew/eat certain foods. All of the options I had been given would have meant living without teeth for at least 3 – 6 months at the absolute minimum…things looked extremely bleak and I was really starting to panic…until my dentist recommended I went to see Dr Richard Brookshaw and his team about a technique he was pioneering called an All-on-4™ same day implant system. I can honestly say that meeting Richard has changed my life. I went from a stark reality of depressing thoughts and believing that I had no viable options, with years of invasive surgery ahead to being given a real, convenient, long term solution that fits with my lifestyle and my needs and is the literally the next best thing to my own teeth (in fact, probably better !).

The procedure is so simple and straightforward that I would recommend it to anyone who has had problems with their teeth or have lived with bridgework or dentures for any length of time. Richard and his team explained everything and made me feel very safe and very comfortable, it was extremely private (I took my lap top to do some work while I was there), completely pain free and the whole procedure took less than 5 hours from start to finish (old teeth out, new teeth in !).

I was back in work the very next morning (equipped with antibiotics and pain killers if I needed them) and I have not had one single problem at all.
