As a result of oral cancer surgery in 2008 I found I had a serious dental problem,having lost 50% of my hard palate and top teeth. I had some previous experience of implant technology with my own dentist but he felt unable to provide an implant solution and having tried unsuccessfully with a special top plate, he suggested I contact Richard Brookshaw who specialised in implant technology.

After consultation Richard suggested that a permanent top denture solution could be achieved by the use of four zygoma implants assisted by the prior insertion of two normal implants in my retained top jaw. Since then apart from quarterly appointments with the hygienist there have been no problems and my same day top denture continues to function satisfactorily.
