Pauline came to same day smiles™ Sheffield after struggling for years to cope with eating the foods she enjoyed.
She was unable to tolerate a denture as it covered the roof of her mouth, aggravating her already oversensitive gag reflex. Her remaining teeth were loose and painful. She was searching for a permanent solution that wouldn’t cause her to gag, but her NHS dental practice could not offer her anything better than a standard denture. Pauline had been provided with a full lower denture too. She couldn’t tolerate this from the beginning and, after discussing the benefits of the treatment decided to go for All-on-4™ for her lower jaw at the same time.
Pauline did worry that she wouldn’t be able to cope with the surgery though due to her gag reflex.
