The All on Four Treatment
Unlike traditional dentures, All on 4 implants will never slip out of place; once the titanium screws have fused with the jawbone, they will stay fixed in the right position permanently, so you’ll never need to replace them and your normal oral function will be restored.
Whereas removable dentures often fail to provide you with a natural looking smile, as well as causing discomfort and interfering with normal dental function, this technique is designed to restore your natural appearance without causing any of the problems associated with less advanced treatments.
Although the screw-like titanium mechanism used is much the same as traditional implants, the way they are positioned is different, and there are only four implants, instead of six, eight or ten. In order to maximise stability and support, two implants are attached to the dense bone at the front of the mouth at the conventional 90-degree angle, whilst another two are fixed towards the back of the jaw at 45-degree tilts. A dental bridge is then attached to the sockets in the implants, enabling you to leave the practice with a full set of permanent teeth that you can use immediately.

What Will the Procedure Involve?
Once we have established that you’re a suitable candidate for the procedure, you will undergo a CT scan so the quality of your bone can be assessed. If we identify any badly decayed teeth, we will extract them. Before the procedure begins, you will be given a local anaesthetic. Next, the dentist will make small incisions in your gum, before drilling into the jawbone, creating little hollows where the implants will sit. A process known as osseointegration will occur, and your implants will eventually fuse with your jawbone, providing the maximum possible stability.
